A family-run takeout kitchen in Whitman — a name the South Shore has known for years.
From Brockton to Whitman
The Christo’s name was known around the South Shore for years before it came to Whitman. In 2014, the Tsaganis family revived it as Christo’s To Go at 785 Bedford Street (Route 18) — a takeout kitchen built around the family’s Greek and American recipes.
Running as a takeout kitchen lets the family focus on the food: everything is prepared to order, and you pick up at the counter. You’ll find family members at the stove and at the register.
What We Cook
The menu covers two traditions that have always shared a table in this part of Massachusetts:
- Greek specialties — baked lamb, moussaka, pastitsio, spanakopita, gyros and souvlaki, avgolemono, and homemade baklava and galaktoboureko.
- American classics — Brockton-style bar pizza, burgers, hot subs, clubs, salads and soups.
